Nope. As I said, not sure if them putting “Stalin rules, by the way. ✊” was not serious and/or intentionally inflammatory.
If they used it seriously, as in supporting Stalin and his acts, don’t they still count as a tankie?

Tankie is a pejorative label generally applied to authoritarian communists, especially those who support acts of repression by such regimes or their allies. – Wikipedia
I use the label “tankie” on people who support dictators like Stalin and Xi Jinping and actively push for an authoritarian state. Not sure if them putting “Stalin rules, by the way. ✊” was not serious and/or intentionally inflamatory.
If we ignored everything they said before because they did supposition, they literally said “Stalin rules”. What part of that doesn’t scream authoritarianism?
You say you support authoritarianism, and then you say “have a government that is actually controlled by the people”. Are you stupid?
You can just install Windows without a product key.
For desktop usage, use FreeBSD or something that is based on it. For servers, you should use NetBSD or OpenBSD (my personal choice).

Searx is pretty great, although I wouldn’t recommend self-hosting it. Just use one of the public instances like Searx Belgium because it is harder to fingerprint you off of your searches since a lot of people also do their searches on the same instance.
Don’t hate them because they are a communist, hate them because they are a tankie.
Also, even if he is a tankie, this has nothing to do with it.
Polls are already available on Mastodon (with federation) without any issues. This could probably be implemented on Lemmy too, without any problems.
fixed another typo
I used it on my laptop a little while back and it works pretty great. Although the stable software repositories are kind of small (doesn’t even have tcc) which is the reason I switched back to Void. Still, it’s great to see GNU as an operating system component isn’t needed that much anymore in Linux.
Also, don’t use regular passwords with random letters and numbers, they are really hard to remember and easier to crack if the password isn’t complex enough. Instead, use a passphrase with at least 5 words.
I deleted my Discord account 2 days ago, and I’m very happy with that choice. Conversations / Any XMPP client is significantly better than Discord in terms of direct messaging and small groups for friends. Some of my friends haven’t switched to Conversations yet, but at that point it is their choice to not speak with me outside of work.
Linux Mint Debian Edition. If you want to go more minimal, try Debian.
AFAIK they’re pretty slow and they have really bad battery lifes. I wouldn’t buy one just yet.
I hope so lol. At that point that is natural selection though.
On what? Servers using Arch Linux? Debian Unstable? Fedora 40?
That wallpaper looks really cool! Can you upload it here?
