Yeah, I misspoke lol. I meant to say Arch but I shortcirced or something.

How? SteamOS is still Linux.
Now this is gaming
It’s the Dark Souls of installing things on Ubuntu
GPU1 is probably your integrated GPU. Look into how you can force the use of your dedicated GPU.
Tried it, no dice.
Gog sucks nuts on Linux though. It’s such a pain in the ass to get my Gog games working in Lutris that I opted to install Gog Galaxy as a non-Steam game and then install my Gog games through that.
That’s what I’ve resorted to but it’s not working as well as the apt package. Freezes often, cloud sync breaks repeatedly.
Snap annoys the piss outta me because of the forced updates. That said, never ever had a snap package not work for me. Whereas installing some things from apt just doesn’t work for whatever reason.
Lmao, these are Canadian dollars, remember. Either way, it’s $300 cheaper at Costco than the price listed on HP.
Lol, I wish I could but that level of programming is beyond my abilities.
Hm, website indicates that it should work but that there may be no audio. Might be a no-go then :(
Maybe if it’s like doing the washing or sweeping the floor or something. For addicts it’s just confirmation that they shouldn’t try.
Being angry at the world.
Hyper bitchass comment
When I quit smoking I holed myself up in a dark room with provisions to last a week. It was hell but it worked.
Higher mortality rate generally means lower transmission since the infected don’t live long enough to pass it along. If it mutates to be less fatal then I’ll be more worried.
I wonder if there’s an overlap with COVID affected species. Is it possible for COVID to have made mammalian species more susceptible to illness?
This wouldn’t be much of an issue if they didn’t regularly abuse their admin/mod status to censor and silence people who dissent with their political beliefs and for example, post things critical of China, Russia, the USSR, socialism, …
So what you’re essentially saying is that these moderators are effectively propagandists/state actors for China, Russia, and so on. I left Reddit to get away from psychic attacks like that, so I’m perfectly happy to defed from the instance. Glad I have the option, too.
While that may be true, I still use my Steam Deck in desktop mode for a bunch of stuff besides gaming. Writing, job applications and interviews, using reddit because it’s the only device I have that isn’t detected for ban evasion, watching shows/Youtube. Maybe I’m atypical, but I don’t see why the Deck would offer a desktop mode if it wasn’t meant to be used.
