I skimmed a different article that mentioned it disables the Trend Micro stuff - which is the whole reason I buy Asus routers (can’t tell you how many stupid things children have downloaded or bad phishing/malicious/anna kournakova naked links they’ve clicked and it has stopped!) so I’m taking the fact that it is still enabled and doing the good things to mean I’m good.
I couldn’t help the coughing and sneezing so I had to walk around with a sheet tied around me for over a week (something they STRONGLY advise against when you have pneumonia as it can [something] your [something, probably breathing?] and make it way way worse) … it was the ribs in the back though so every time I’d cough or sneeze it 1) KILLED, and 2) felt like I was going to blow my back open, lol - so I had to pull the sheet as tight as I could to basically hold those back ribs in, and then try to get the cough/sneeze through - and try not to make a horrible mess of myself as both hands were occupied, lol - and then I could release and go back to trying not to cough or sneeze …
Imma go book a COVID booster ahead of my early July trip, right now, while I’m remembering this, rofl
omg I did that when I had COVmonia last year and many times figured I’d rather just be dead.
Cloud backups, AWS, because they’ve feed me piles of credits (less so lately though) so it’s practically free.
I back very little up to the cloud though as it’s so expensive. Basically just the storage of my local Git server which has all the configs, app and microservices I’ve built for my home automations and lab. Syncs straight from my NAS where the Git server is hosted.

I’m waiting for a 2TB drive to arrive to upgrade the 512GB in my Legion Go and one of the first things I wanted to do was set up to dual boot Bazzite.
These little blurbs make me want to just blow away Windows right now though and go all in on Bazzite. Especially as I play literally zero “popular multiplayer shooting games”.
I said this to my father in 98/99ish when we were already updating to four digits anyway and he told me I was crazy.

In the middle of getting my wisdom teeth pulled. They had to like, take me off the laughing gas, but then feed me air or o2 or something for a bit to make sure it was cleared out of my system enough that I could EXIT the dentist’s office and proceed down the hall of the office tower to the shared washroom … while still doped up on the other pain stuff and whatever else was going on (I think they had to shove some gauze in there to keep me from bleeding all over myself or something) … fun times!
I’ve been very happy with my Monoprice “Blackbird 4K DisplayPort 1.4 USB 3.0 4x1 KVM Switch, 4K@60Hz, HDR, YCbCr 4:4:4, HDCP 2.2”. I run an ultrawide at 3840x1600 @ 144 Hz, or HDR at 120 Hz, G-Sync both, and it works wonderfully. It took some effort to get all the required devices using the same connections - went through quite a few “USB-C to DP” cables from Amazon that had to be returned because they couldn’t do the high refresh like they claimed … but once I got everything set up, it’s worked like a dream, 3+ years and counting now I think.

I learned about 16 years ago on a Solaris course that /usr wasn’t “user”, I still say “user”, but I’m happy to see the information spreading that that isn’t what it actually is.
Yeah, two way IPS, malicious site blocking, and “infected device prevention and blocking” which stops compromised hosts from talking to C&C servers. I’ve had the last one show me one of the children’s computers/phones was infected and needed to be cleansed with fire, at least twice. All in all incredible protection against “users” and their careless behaviour!
