I’m a layman in terms if AI but I think it can be a useful tool, if used in proper context. I use it when I struggle to find something by regular internet search. The fact you can search in a conversational style and specify as you go on what you need is great.

I feel it is pushed into contexts where it has no place and where it’s usefulness is limited or counterproductive.

Then there is the question of the inproper use of copyrighted material which is terrible

An event or something I need to do on a specific time? Calendar app.

Something I need to do when I have time? The Simple Notes app has a handy widget which I havenon the phone homescreen to have it on my sight constantly to remember I have stuff that needs doing.

Anything else I use Quillpad for.

  • My dog refuses to poop in our yard. Has no issues in any other, just not at home.

Once, he had a diarhea and wanted outside. I was a couple of times in the span of couple of hours so I thought fuck it, I will use it - I let him out and thought when he can’t hold anymore, he will let it out and I will try to make it a training excercise for him to see it’s ok. Nope! Had to take him in the end because he was shaking in front of the fence gate, tail between legs, looking at me desperately.

So I had to accept he would rather die than to let poop out in his yard.

  • I guess it depends on what you do, but as an awerage user - not really much to learn in terms of Linux. No special knowledge needed to use it like a normal person. I had to reformat some drives so Linux can use them and learning about Heroic games launcher, Lutris and Bottles to run non-steam games and windows software amd learn about compatibility layer built into Steam.

Otherwise it just works. Using Linux Mint. Didn’t boot to Windows pretty much since I installed it - there was no need.
