They have to work so hard at just propping up their biases (on penalty of hell in many cases) that it’s hard to conceive of a world where other people aren’t also secretly doing that.

But guuuuuys, everybody’s supposed to lie and make less money and become slaves :( if you don’t do that, what’s this last 50 years of political gamesmanship and duplicity and propaganda been for??

What I hope happens is we oust him and do some serious work on our systems that prevents stuff like this.

Though the track record of our leaders is pretty depressing, maybe they’re starting to wake up now that we get to see Endgame Capitalism

All he has succeeded in doing is violently ripping the US away from its place at the center of the global hegemony.

Which is not great for those of us in the US, but honestly had to happen, the rest of the world clearly cannot depend on us. Our entire political system is built on honor systems and pinky promises, the rich can do whatever they please and never see accountability.
