This sounds the same as “Starfield becomes fun after 500 hours” to me, doesn’t really sell it. I spend enough of my day trying to rise above mundanity.

frankly man, if you need someone to talk to whatever I’m here. you seem like you’re in some pain
I checked your post history and it’s funny how spot on my assessment was lol.
Sounds like it’s too late though, oh well
can’t imagine a life outside of console wars huh?
take the advice or leave it, just trying to prevent future incel man-children mad at the world
hey man as you get older you should consider rounding out your personality with things that actually matter. personality based on which corporations you support over others isn’t going to be appealing to prospective friends and partners.
I wonder if this is a factor in why the steam link app (which allows you to stream your games) seperate from the steam app that lets you buy games.
much of a game’s development time is spent creating assets, using a new engine doesn’t mean your existing low fidelity assets suddenly look better, just better lit
The average human driver is tried and held accountable
How’s that different from any other platform? What a coincidence that American capitalists want you to hate Chinese capitalists
The platforms are responsible because they curate and serve the content. Their algorithms can be and are exploited, but the fact that they’re algorithms doesn’t absolve them of responsibility.
Nobody told them they have to serve and intake millions of hours of content every day. If a human editor put that stuff out we’d hold the business accountable for that person’s actions.
Algorithms and AI aren’t excuses.
Here’s the actual statement. It’s not truly singling out China for being “China bad.”
You guys are lapping up and spreading sinophobia, just as bad as what people are doing on Telegram and Tik Tok.
Pot, meet kettle.
I’m pretty sure this story was blown out of proportion and exaggerated. These people were training and validating the automated systems not watching the cameras 24/7.
That’s how AI is trained, manual intervention. It wasn’t working as well as they hoped, but it wasn’t humans watching cameras in real time.

The link goes into discussion of complexity and parallelism advantages of this approach. That implies that it could be faster
points taken, but what I meant was that they of all people should be able to make the best possible game on their engine. if they were making the game on a new engine it’d be easier to understand if their eyes were bigger than their stomach due to their inexperience
and this fact makes things worse because it’s their in-house engine and if they can’t make their ideas and execution work on their own framework that’s an even bigger failure. It’s not like they were trying to learn Unreal while making their game
Yeah, I was gonna say. I’m sure it’ll meet my expectations, and I’ll be disappointed.
What this person is proposing is functionally similar to forms of anarchism and anarchist theory has some answers to these kinds of questions.
For example the communes could have a federation where representatives are sent to settle disputes. Likewise instead of a fixed 2000 people with walls between you could have people in several smaller overlapping communities which act as bridges across a network of communities. Similar to how a person can be a family member and a company employee and a resident of an apartment building etc.
Though I don’t completely buy in to everything it says, https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/peter-gelderloos-anarchy-works goes into how anarchist communities can and have worked
we can just gently smooch the boots
He might have even had some dangerous written materials they should have searched his whole house. Or maybe dangerous chemicals hidden in his closet. Or maybe dangerous weapons stuffed in the couch cushions. They should have ransacked the whole place.
Why even endanger themselves going in with just cuffs? Flashbang the guy before he can react with a possibly deadly weapon. Drive a battering ram through his front door it only takes a second to open fire.
Put him under surveillance for a few weeks and collect his whole schedule so you can hit him when it’s safe.
right?
