Like him or hate him, Biden was never not going to back Israel. He’d been an Israel supporter for a long time before he became president, and there’s really no excuse for not knowing that if you’re at all interested in American politics. People wish they could elect some sort of ideal president, but I’ve never seen one, yet.

So, given that, you might alternatively say that Hamas’s enduring legacy will be the destruction of America. When they attacked Israel at that time, because of the players involved, the GOP’s chances of winning big in 2024 really surged.

There’s actually quite a lot that’s blatantly out in the open right now. Here’s Trump virtually saying outright that he trades government positions for political support.

“At the suggestion of Elon Musk, who has given me his complete and total endorsement … I will create a government efficiency commission tasked with conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and making recommendations for drastic reforms,” Trump said in remarks at the Economic Club of New York. “We need to do it. Can’t go on the way we are now.”

That’s just what the public knows. There’s surely a lot more sinister quid pro quo behind the scenes.

You have forgotten about the currency that Trump usually deals in, something called “quid pro quo.”

Trump, a main draw for Truth Social users and many retail investors in the company, said earlier in September that he will not sell his stake. The stock price briefly shot up after his remarks.

Other early investors have made no such promises. They include ARC Global, a sponsor of the blank-check firm that took Trump Media public, and United Atlantic Ventures, an entity controlled by two former contestants on Trump’s reality show “The Apprentice.”

I believe it’s not only that these investors made no promises not to sell, but that several of them specifically expressed that they would be selling as soon as they were legally allowed to do so.

It’s hard to accurately value Truth Social. But I think if Trump were to leave the platform, its value would go to zero, and that makes it very risky. I just saw a price of 12.74. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still quite overvalued, and so it makes sense for those investors to try to sell at this price.

The problem is that if these people are voting for Jill Stein, then they are not actually voting for who they wish. Jill Stein is not the person who they think she is.

If she were to magically win the election, they’d by-and-large be extraordinarily disappointed in the result.

This is why misinformation and disinformation is so destructive in a democracy. The voters need to be properly informed.

Isn’t that the point in the interview, after Jason Miller says that the Harris campaign did something 100x worse, when you tell Miller that since he knows something that much worse, he should give an actual example?

Denying science isn’t really something that deserves to be called a “view”.

Biden would have a huge hill to climb here. Netanyahu has a lot of incentive to wait until after our election to take this sort of action. And meanwhile, he can choose between giving Biden a huge win or embarrassing Biden, again.

But I have repeatedly seen Biden succeed when faced with difficult diplomatic problems. So I have to admit that personally, this does get my hopes up a little.

Joe Rogan should spend more time riding on public transportation. He’d be sure to find other people who make sense to him. They’ll be the ones who are walking around talking loudly at other passengers.

The VP actually has a great deal of Constitutional power already, as the Constitution declares them to be President of the Senate, with the power to cast a tie-breaking vote. Their ability to be Presiding Officer of the Senate, I would argue makes the VP more powerful than a normal Senator. The fact that modern VPs choose not to use this power, I think demonstrates that the VP actually has a lot more power than people realize.

She’s got a point, but the same point could be made about her, so it’s hard to take her seriously.

So, you agree with her statement because of its content, but then try to cast doubt on the same statement because of who said it?

I thought there was supposed to be video footage somewhere of Trump saying the n-word in The Apprentice board room for his TV show. Something along the lines of asking whether people would accept it if an n-word won. That would be a lot more recent.

By these standards, most of my adult relatives are actually children.

They should be terrified of what Trump would do to them with this power, though. History has shown time and time again that, just because Trump likes you today, that doesn’t mean he won’t fire you tomorrow. Or in this case, should I say “fire” you tomorrow.

If Biden were to use his powers to force the 6 conservative Supreme Court Justices out, then there wouldn’t be anybody on the court who would disagree with the minority interpretation.

Important meetings? During his presidency, Trump skipped most of his daily intelligence briefings.

Forget staying awake, Trump doesn’t even show up.

Because this is politics, and the US has only two possible options in November, it is good to remember that Trump told Israel that it should “end the problem” of Gaza.

Even if you don’t like Biden on this issue, it is imperative to vote for him in November. A non-vote for Biden is almost as bad as a vote for Trump.

I can guarantee MAGA will have no qualms voting for Trump despite his genocidal tendencies. If you don’t vote for Biden and Trump wins, you will be responsible for a lot of suffering.

Am I mistaken, or is this the same commission that makes it very hard for third party candidates to participate in debates?

Based on McConnell’s past actions, I suspect that the reason he is standing by his previous position is that he doesn’t find it politically beneficial to change his opinion. I don’t think there is any other type of meaning to McConnell’s political positions.
