Not on mobile
Several people have already done that better
Plus that’s the version that most mods are built for
Snaps still suck
I’ve personally found the behavior of ‘clear’, spacing of buttons, and lack of customization capable of fixing those to be rather annoying. They’re the same complaints I have with Fossify’s calculator app. I’m currently using OpenCalc since they don’t have those issues.
Ah, yes. Little Bobby Tables
For me, sometimes the solution hits me like a train while I’m taking my morning shower. And I usually am not thinking about code either
Muskrat grew up as a trust fund baby on money from his dad’s apartheid emerald mines. He’s essentially clueless regarding technical skills and got where he is from just hiring people who knew what they were doing.
Unfortunately there’s been a bunch of propaganda over the years making him out to be some super genius that’s the lead engineer for all of his companies, and he’s since bought into all of it
Be the change you want to see in the world
If you have multiple TVs and are already considering a Jellyfin server, you could make it a Sunshine server as well. It’s the open-source replacement for GeForce Now, with Moonlight as the client-side software
Care to explain what that is?
Are you only wanting to emulate games with PCSX2 or multiple different emulators? If the latter, have you tried the automated install process of Emulation Station or EmuDeck? I haven’t dealt with PS2 games through it yet, but maybe the automated installers and configs will help?
Like a lot of stuff, I blame “popular science” tech youtubers like Linus Sebastien. He thought it was funny to lose his mind with a butter knife and stab at his steam deck and everyone pointed out how dangerous that was while memeing it around.
Stuff like this is why I can’t watch LTT anymore. He’s effectively become the PewDiePie or Logan Paul of tech and has become net negative for the industry.
Lately he did a video where he downloaded HoloISO as an analogue for a SteamOS 3.0 review (why would you review it when it’s actively discouraged for download on non-Steam Deck hardware?). While he doesn’t spend a ton of time on the problems (like connecting to printers), it’s still negative exposure to things that will most likely be sorted out before release (if they’re not already fixed within Valve).
That being said, I shouldn’t expect much from the guy who did the equivalent of deleting System32 in an attempt to install Steam when all he had to do was open the app manager and click install
Found the Ubisoft fanboy.
Can’t wait for them to crash and burn after AC: Shadows flops
Please don’t rewrite history: Always online -> Microsoft started that trend with GFWL et al
You apparently don’t understand what “push and normalize” means.
They never claimed that Ubisoft started these, they only claimed that Ubisoft was a major factor in these practices being popularized
I tend to be in the “fuck corporations” camp, but this doesn’t really look like they’re stealing his work. It looks nothing like the original Charlie the Unicorn. The original Charlie was gray, while this creature is white and rainbow. This is just a reference.
As an analogy, Borderlands 2 has a sniper rifle names The Storm, and it has the red flavor text “tut tut, looks like rain”, which is a quote from Winnie the Pooh. I personally wouldn’t call that exploitation. You could try to make an argument, but it’s so minor and indirect that any argument wouldn’t hold any water
While this sucks, thankfully for me I didn’t want to play those games to begin with
And nothing of value was lost
Works for me
