Umm… no they don’t? You need a password to unlock it after restarting it but you absolutely can turn the phone off without a password. I’m on my 3rd Samsung device and have never entered a password to shut any of them off.

Are people really trying to make blacklist and whitelist a race thing? Good Lord.
Are we going to start referring to cables as having female-identifying ends and male-identifying ends? Are USB-C cables non-binary?

Yes, that’s exactly what I think and precisely the message my comment portrays. In fact I believe you personally are the sole cause of the lack of public programs. Shame on you.
I was going to say you’re not a bad person, but then you swore on the Internet.
It doesn’t matter that you tried to censor it. Bad words are a strict no no here and don’t you forget it. The Internet is no home to your obscenities.
I’m on your side of the argument, but I don’t think this is a fair take. We know from history that it’s very difficult for victims to come forward in these cases. Your Catholic Church example is a good case of this; the adults we’re hearing from were children when the abuse took place. Look at the Me Too incident. Hundreds if not thousands of victims all coming forward years after the fact because they feared the backlash. I genuinely doubt there are groups like the woman described in existence, but if there were, it’s understandable that we wouldn’t be hearing about it right away.
That’s what I’m saying haha. Everyone in here seems to be relishing in the fact that this program might go away simply because of who put it in place. I’m getting more and more convinced every day that the majority of people who left reddit for the Fediverse are young angry teenagers who think they’re sticking it to “the man”. So many comment sections look exactly like this; no nuance, only anger at anything remotely right wing. Even an HIV resource program is too far right for these people.
“Hey guys the program I made works pretty well and a lot of people are genuinely benefiting from it if we’re serious about helping people we should keep it funded”
“Fuck you you piece of shit go die! Also how come there aren’t any public programs :(”
“I have to see my rapists living in my city, I mean I wasn’t raped or anything but yeah. You should definitely fuck with the biker gangs tho”
Least terminally online comment
Ah that makes sense. I see a lot of comments seemingly replying to the wrong comment, I’m on kbin and the comments are pretty clear for me but maybe other instances they are still confusing. Sorry if it seemed like I was coming at you, the incorrect context made your comment seem incredibly hostile for no reason haha. Have a good one man
If you don’t understand, then ask a question.
What exactly is your challenge here?
I think they were asking a question? There isn’t a challenge they’re doing exactly what you said to do in the correct place to do it lmao.
Tbf this is how it works in my state (California) and I’d assume many others with a similar program. They don’t want people that already have a degree (and thus potential for a higher paying job) coming in and inflating the program’s cost.
What the hell are you on dude? Someone literally is just trying to have a discussion with you on a public forum you posted in, how are they trying to drag you ham fisted in to a debate by simply replying to your comment? Someone’s gwumpy…
So it’s aimed at people that already own a console attached to their TV, but want to play it as a handheld, and can’t take it out of the house to keep playing?
But I thought the Wii U sold poorly. Why would they make another one?
I haven’t read it in a while, but I kind of took the genetic engineering as a metaphor for being forced into the role/ class the ruling body wants you to be in
I had so many issues with my (less than legitimate) windows install kept nuking itself and the drive it was on, I bought a cheap small SSD that has literally nothing but windows on it so whenever it goes fucky I just wipe and reinstall. It’s a total time of like an hour going from “shits fucked” to “everything is pretty much how it was before”.
