Update 5/16/2025 12:56 a.m. ET: Bungie has responded and blamed the incident on a former employee. The studio says it’s reaching out to the artist in question and conducting a full review of its in-game assets for Marathon. “We immediately investigated a concern regarding unauthorized use of artist decals in Marathon and confirmed that a former Bungie artist included these in a texture sheet that was ultimately used in-game,” the studio posted on X.

It seemed they were well intentioned, but it just got too hard to keep saying the same things. I don’t want to ban people who are doing what they think is helpful either. It’ll probably stay locked.

But please, if you see people shit stirring or trolling, report it. I only ban for a few days for the non-serial or non-serious stuff anyway. It seems to keep the professional trolls away.

As part of Donald Trump‘s immigration crackdown, three U.S. citizen children were deported with their mothers by the New Orleans Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Friday morning. One of the children was undergoing cancer treatment and one of the mothers is pregnant.

Both families had lived in the country for years and had ties to their communities, according to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Louisiana, which warns that the circumstances of their sudden deportations raises grave due process concerns.
