It’s essentially the same, but it looks different since it’s gnome. It’s a window about a remote desktop thing that I have to cancel every time. It doesn’t show up anymore after I quit steam

I have no idea. It’s annoying as hell. But thankfully it goes away when I quit steam. Maybe try uninstalling whatever remote app that is?
I’ve had steam for about 6 years now, and I’ve only bought one game for $0.99. I can’t even review games or make comments. lol
On the other hand, I have heroic launcher installed and it has over 85 games that I got for free from epic, gog and Amazon gaming. I have so many games that will last me a life time with the pace I play.
This happens on gnome, too. I have chimera OS installed on a handheld I have, and every time I touched the screen, a remote bullshit something something pops up. It only goes away when I quit steam completely
Awesome. I appreciate the input.
I try to stay away from the Samsung site so I don’t buy the new phone. Lmao
That’s very annoying how complicated it is. Ok, U3 or V30. What about the A? Is it A1? A2? Or does that not matter.
Holy shit, thank you so much. It even has a Qt UI which fits very well with my desktop. Ill definitely use it when I get a card.

9·1 year agoYou should mess with the desktop mode more often. It’s called KDE Plasma desktop, and it’s simply the most customizable software you can probably ever run into. It’s insane how many things you can change on this thing.

1·1 year agoYup, another reason why I will never buy their stuff is how bad they’ve been towards little people.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•What handheld PCs should do to fight the Nintendo Switch 2
41·1 year agoNothing at all? I feel like Nintendo is old news now and it is mostly for 12 year olds. I personally will never buy another switch. I can basically play any game on my steam deck/PC, why waste my money on a platform that has a fraction of the games I have access to on my PC?
If you have a steam deck laying around and you want to tear it down to make it “headless”, please send it to me? Why on earth would anyone do that to a steam deck?
And hidpi support. I no longer need my microscope
I hate this one. It’s so fucking random and I have never had a good answer as what causes it. I’ve found that a reboot fixes it. It usually happened after a big upgrade where you need to reboot. That’s the only solution I’ve had for it.

This sounds so annoying. Sometimes I feel like Wayland is like locking your car and throwing the key away then hoping you’d somehow be able to get in. It implements so many “security” features that just locks you from doing essential things on your system. I’m not an expert, but I think some work should be done for things like that to have a pipe? A tunnel? To go through Wayland’s security walls? It just doesn’t make sense sometimes
