Now we’re still pasting code from stack overflow we don’t understand, we’re just getting it from an LLM

Well you can run doom on Linux, so obviously yeah
With Windows if you don’t have a tpm you have to get a whole new computer lol
“there’s no such thing as the cloud, just other people’s computers tiny water droplets”
That’s roughly the equivalent of a $100 fine for someone who makes 75k
Graphene is absolutely the best choice for that exact situation, please do look into it more. It is far ahead of anything else for enabling you to stay safe. You do still have to make sure to set it up correctly, which takes some careful reading, but the instructions are out there.
Stop spreading misinformation, Switzerland is fully in Schengen since 2008.

If you already don’t use Google apps, and your bank app doesn’t ban graphene, there shouldn’t be any issues at all tbh
Fairphone would need to substantially modify their hardware to make that work
This reminds me of the (probably apocryphal) Mozart quote where a student asked him to teach them how to write a symphony, and was told “start with something more simple and short, for one instrument”. The student complained “but you have been writing symphonies since you were a child!”. The reply: “yes, but I didn’t have to ask how”.
The application of this idea here is that for someone to know the requirements for their system to the degree that they can really be sure that the most typical suggestions are not sufficient for them, they probably have to understand how the kernel handles swap and RAM to an extent that they don’t really need to ask this question.
People are very ready to assume that their system is way out of the ordinary, but it probably isn’t.
That’s not an alternative, you always need tests
where messing up a space breaks everything
Messing up some character breaks everything in any language, skill issue
there is no real type system
What does “real” mean? It’s pretty robust these days.
According to US felony murder rules, yes, the bank robber can be charged with that murder
No, they really are. No doubt they do plenty of stuff at the behest of the NSA, but they are also a deeply disfunctional company with conflicts between departments and bare minimum funding for security, since it’s seen as a cost centre
Ehhh that’s likely enough, but Microsoft is also just shit at fixing things
Nah, nonprofit state-run landlords (in countries which have them) are great, and strong protections for renters are good. I don’t want to buy a house, I move around a lot, don’t wanna deal with lawyers every time I move, don’t wanna be responsible for maintenance, I just want some basic level of security and not to be completely ripped off.
Why is 85% the magic number? Just because you say so? I do agree that increased property taxes are important, but there’s no reason not to also make rental contracts less exploitative.
It’s you who has the logic the wrong way around. The rich profiting from the healthcare system is why the healthcare system is bad, that doesn’t exclude them from profiting from other things too. In your analogy OP’s statement equates to “this Toyota is a car” (or “this car is a Toyota” depending on which thing is the rich and which thing is ruining a societal good).
Because it’s cheaper than paying for your own private healthcare
That doesn’t sound ridiculously nuanced to me, that sounds straightforwardly like what OP said.
Who knows, and furthermore, who cares?
