Which platform? Desktop or mobile ? For android, there’s “jtx board” which works for me pretty well.

1·2 years agoBut it’s not what I want. KOrganizer’s is a full fledged journal with a date, whereas I need a simple note taking app without a date.

2·2 years agoYes. I use thunderbird for all the other caldav features. So being able to use the app for notes will be the best thing.

Just follow this tutorial and you will have Radicale setup via docker. Radicale is lightweight and really does help me to get away with all the caldav/cardav necessities.
Create an aws account (new if already have) to use it’s 12 months free tier, setup OpenVPN Access Server (tbh easy process), go to admin panel and enable dmz. Connect to the server from your local machine with an openvpn client. It can be used to open as many ports as you want.
Good work. Added to favorites.

Honestly, I had totally given up on the idea of “social network”. Didn’t know something federated called “Fediverse” existed. I joined Nostr 2 months ago and it was not bad (if we ignore mostly bitcoin posts). So I joined Mastodon, the client was super smooth. Then I researched about Fediverse more and then tried Lemmy. The variety of clients and their customisation and stability is top class. Loving it since then.
I am happy that I joined it 💢 gonna be fun.

You’re welcome 😊
