What are your needs ? What are the services/software you want to ditch ? What are the threats you want to protect from ?
There is no universal privacy guides.
Honestly european bankster telling me they won’t replace cash with CBDC (while removing more and more ATM in rural areas) and that we will be anonymous (while attacking privacy respecting companies in order to protect citizens from terrorist and money laundering) sounds like propaganda to me. But I will keep using cash as long as possible alongside Bitcoin, Lignting Network and Monero and NEVER ever enter this CBDC system.
Did you heard and read what the banksters said about the digital euro named cash+ ? Did you see how it this authoritarian technology have been abused by the countries that have already implemented it ?
CBDC have nothing to do with cash, it will be closed and opaque, surveilled and controlled, frozable and perishable. Of course it won’t be on day one, they ususally wait to be necessary in people lives to change stuff just like private companies does. Don’t be fool by the banksters, especially the ones from central banks and cantillonaires… They wan’t to remove cash to have better control over our money.
Are you a utopist or brainwashed by Lagarde ?
I can see a future where big YouTube conten creators taking some independance and start monetizing a peertube instance with a real infrastructure and not just a cheap VPS. Maybe I am utopist.
I’ve used it in the past and it does work but required you to own the PlayStore version. Alternatively you could use GeyserMC as a minecraft server to have both Bedrock and Java players on the same server.
I have ditch that spyware OS years ago so I never tried the following software but check : ElevenClock
The core of Android is open source and named AOSP for short, it is built on top of the Linux kernel which is also free and open source. However Google have made AOSP not usable by abandonning most of the free app in favor of their own proprietary apps such as Google Messenger, Goole Photos etc… That’s why community project like LineageOS builds their own apps to make them usable instead of the old deprecated ones. Brands like Samsung, OnePlus, etc… are not building from AOSP but rather paying a licence fee to Google so they can use the Google Services that are almost necessary to modern Android.
OP is running GrapheneOS which is a Free and Open Source Operating System based on AOSP.
Fairphone are big tho
GrapheneOS is superior in many regards. CalyxOS is a more de-googled experience than standard LineageOS which it is based on with optionnal microG for better compatibility. LineageOS still have many Google blobs in it’s code even though it’s cleaner than every Stock Android OS in regards to privacy and third-party bloat.
Never heard of Langis before :)
Bitrefill, CakePay and CoinsBee are plateform where you can sell crypto for gift cards and thus use them to pay online stuff in many places that don’t accept crypto. You can also use them physically if needed.
You can buy the SMS verification for Telegram on sites likes smspool.net using crypt I currencies such as Bitcoin or Monero.
If you don’t install software made from people that are not align with your ethics there are probably more than just brave.
Thanks Steam ROM Manager looks nice
I’de rather go with Linux Mint Cinnamon or Nobara with their custom GNOME DE
I will rather go with a second hand 2-3 years old premium laptop from a Linux manufacturer such as System76 or Tuxedo.
The real downside of brave is the cryptocrap. It is still optional. However the fact that it support the chromium monopoly is also a bad point.
Bazzite still has experimental support for NVidia GPUs, you should use Nobara HTPC Nvidia ISO
