Why are there no laptops with vertical screens?
Why are there no laptops with vertical screens?
It’s all about familiarity. People feel comfortable with Windows because they always used it and it has all the programs they always used. Most people just want to get their shit done and don’t care about operating systems at all.
And boy did they commit mass murder
I have Nextcloud running on a Pi4 and it runs like a charm. It has a lot of RAM and processing power to spare, actually. The good thing about arm mini computers is the exceptionally low power draw. You can’t achieve that with some old x86 PC.
Why would they do that. No they didn’t. They wanted to push something official because of the show and generally don’t bother not breaking mods with updates.
Yeah because it identifies itself as such. But each version on Manjaro or Arch are gonna report as Manjaro or Arch. With Ubuntu you have two releases every year that each report as a unique name.
Mostly because Arch is Arch while Ubuntu and such are divided into the different release versions.
There is just no point in hoarding. Whatever you bought and didn’t play immediately is gonna be on sale again. So either play it within the next two weeks or so or don’t buy.
Tim Minchin said it in “Storm” but I don’t think he coined the term.
I haven’t tried Starfield because it’s still getting patched, but Bethesda games are some of my favorites. Yes they’re janky and everything but I love exploring and looting and they really nail that.
If you are rear-ending another car, you are the problem 100% of the time. You always need to treat other drivers as if they were complete morons. That includes always keeping enough distance to safely stop if they suddenly slam they breaks.
In Germany, if you’re in jail you can’t be elected into office. You can however always cast your vote even from jail (except for rare and extreme political crimes such as terrorism, starting a war and such)
They usually do if they don’t use kernel level anti cheat. But it’s a bit more complicated than Steam. There are guides online. It’s manageable but it’s not “click play and you’re done” like steam
For most users it probably just comes down to what is installed on their machine when they buy it. People generally don’t think about operating systems a whole lot.
I love KdenLive!
For the average person, that is impossible. Also, you lose a lot of features compared to SteamOS. Also, the controls are (at least to me) a main selling point and there is no controller on the market that comes close to the capabilities of the Deck.
Look, the humanitarian situation in Gaza is indisputably horrible and it’s absolutely the fault of Israel’s government. It may very well be genocide. International investigations will show.
Right now, it’s a war zone and it’s very hard to gather reliable evidence. That’s why I put it in quotes.
Not voting for Biden on this single issue is insane. It directly benefits Trump who, other than Biden, won’t try to ease the situation. He will actively make the conflict worse. He’ll also do his best to dismantle what is left of US democracy and worsen the lives of millions of people.
Fight for a better voting system. Protest against Biden’s foreign policy. But please don’t throw away your vote and give the world another term of Trump.
US democracy is weak. With first past the post voting, a two party system is inevitable. But not voting Biden because he is “genocidal” is the dumbest excuse ever.
Fight to change the voting system, but don’t fight it by getting a literal fascist elected. Because that’s what you are responsible for if you don’t vote.
