Yeah, it doesn’t clear the dials, and if you want to manually reduce the time you do need to adjust the time dial, but you get a delightful bell sound when you do so. The door does stop the magnetron when open though.

One dial is power level, the other is time.
“We live in a society where foreign alien terrorists have unlimited free legal representation,” Stephen Miller posted.
From the US Constitution:
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
DEI during hiring is things like:
DEI during employment is things like:
DEI is not (though the right commonly likes to use it this way):
Oof, I might have wooshed there. Totally read that comment as criticizing my inquiry as things a Jr would ask and not as the implementation being “look what I as a Jr can do!”
Cool. Help me learn then by answering my questions.
I, uh, hate that radius calculation. Why does the radius need to be reactive? What do you stand to gain over just setting to like 3 or 4px and moving on with your life?
Class war is war.
The US has literally bombed its citizens on 2 occasions because of class resistance. The military has literally taken up arms against the citizens it swore to protect over class differences. We describe violent clashes between workers and the bourgeoisie as “battles.”
Just because we’ve experienced a period of unprecedented peace doesn’t mean class conflict is over–it will not be over until class is abolished.
Also, revolutions, civil war, and war in general are most often illegal.
The state has convicted and executed innocent people. The average criminal subject to capital punishment has killed an order (or several) of magnitudes fewer people than the health insurance industry.
As a country we seem to weigh more heavily acts of individual violence than those of systemic violence or violence borne of policy even when the latter 2 have far more impactful and wide spread negative results. It’s completely logical to draw a distinction between the 2 circumstances.
I’m not saying all vigilante justice is good, and I wouldn’t necessarily be against the state holding to account executives who have produced systems and policies that result in the harm or death of the state’s citizens, but in the current system justice is rare and in this act millions of people received justice.
When I was about 10 a kid on my block only found out that Santa wasn’t real when he was 13. This sent some ripples through the neighborhood families cause he was now also doubting God. So all the good little Christian parents sat down their kids and reassured them that Santa was fake but Jesus was real. 20 years later I’m an agnostic atheist.
This whole thing just makes me want to steer clear of wordpress entirely.

I pulled up to a crossroad, stopped at the stop sign, and waited for the 2 vehicles on the main road to pass. Another car pulled up across from me and came to a complete stop at their stop sign, they waited for a moment, then started to go. They looked again, saw the other vehicles coming, stopped (not yet in the main road), then started to proceed again. They stopped again (this time in the main road). They started to go again and got hit by the first vehicle on the main road. The next vehicle on the main road was an ambulance who saw the whole thing and stopped.
Honestly not sure why you would stop at a sign, see traffic coming then go and stop multiple times if you weren’t on something or trying for some fraud.
Honestly, most Americans should be worried about fraud. Republicans have spent the last 4 years putting election deniers in key positions of power, purging voters’ registrations, and changing laws on how someone can vote and whose vote counts. There are at least 2 Supreme Court Justices that bought into the lie last time and will not hesitate to give the win to Trump if given the opportunity. They tried to fraudulently steal the last one and the same people are still in power. They will try again. The only legal way to stop them is to vote in such high numbers against them that the decision is never sent to Congress or the courts to resolve.
Or like the game instead of the credit card collection form.
It’s unclear who’ll win the next US election. Zelensky wants support from whomever wins. Zelensky therefore has met with all the candidates who have a chance to win to try and bolster the chances of continued support.
State communication should not travel over private channels that can arbitrarily limit access to that State’s communications.
There actually was a wolf in that analogy. Just cause the villagers decided to ignore the warnings didn’t make him not exist.
It gives a false sense of security to beginner programmers and doesn’t offer a more tailored solution that a more practiced programmer might create. This can lead to a reduction in code quality and can introduce bugs and security holes over time. If you don’t know the syntax of a language how do you know it didn’t offer you something dangerous? I have copilot at work and the only thing I actually accept its suggestions for now are writing log statements and populating argument lists. While those both still require review they are generally faster than me typing them out. Most of the rest of what it gives me is undesired: it’s either too verbose, too hard to read, or just does something else entirely.
You work in politics and are openly discussing invading an ally to expand your colonial empire. By it’s very nature this news is politics and that’s your fuckin’ fault.
