Spoken by someone who has never felt with a learning dissability
I guess I expect the national energy commission to still regulate the plant to ensure safety standards are the same between public and private.
While it used to be closed source the maintainer a couple years back decided to not make it a job, and open sourced, took down the hosted option, and nowaintains it as a side project open sourced.
Literally anything that requires knowing facts to inform writing. This is something LLMs are incapable of doing right now.
Just look up how many R’s are in strawberry and see how chat gpt gets it wrong.
I mean it’s always a good assumption nowadays with chat gpt
Both Ubuntu and mint are debian based.
If what others have said about there being a solid orange wallpaper, I have questions about the art
But now your posturing in the “potential “ can you see how that doesn’t actually help server owners pay the bills they have today?
Like sure postulate all you want, but it’s not a better solution to the actual usable solutions.
The sports betting apps is whataboutism. I don’t care what happens to a different scam when this other scam becomes more popular?
Let me clarify.
Betting is a pleasure activity. Whatever currency that uses is irrelevant.
If someone is selling you profit motivated betting, they’re selling you a scam.
If their method worked, they wouldn’t be selling it. They’d be using it because generally they only work when few know it works.
Can you see how “there’s not a better solution” isn’t addressing the problem that crypto is fundamentally a scam?
Also, you can’t pay your rent with crypto either….
EDIT: if you want crypto to pass my sniff test, you have to explain where value comes from.
Fiat currency is valuable because I can pay my taxes with it. (This is really the only reason it has value).
So what underpins crypto value beyond “it’s the future”
All (capitalistic) money is a scam.
We’re just forced to use a currency because governments say so.
So yes, your crypto is still a scam. Because money still vanishes into thin air when line goes down.

You’re trying to please a boomer that’s still angry that email exists in the first place.
Sync the internal drive cache with the disk. IIRC

a little further down, emphasis my own
Though the famous online names are not directly linked with these deaths, students feel betrayed by the lack of vocal or visible support. They believe none of them would be running profitable businesses or be household names if it were not for them.
So again, why are people getting angry at the YouTubers?
I mean the article made it sound like a standard tutorial grifters, so I’m not sure I feel bad for them, but I still have that question.
That would defeat the purpose of federation.
It becomes a central choke point of moderation. Who gets to decide what instances are part of global and which ones aren’t. Because a free for all isn’t going to end well. And then you’re back at Reddit.
That assumes you don’t value your time spent dealing with troubles that come.
Like the other person said, it’s fine if you don’t, but for me it’s worth a little upfront cost to have to deal with less ordering new drives, putting the drive in the server, monitor rebuilding of the array, ect…
None of that is an excuse for lack of proper backups. Because even new drives can fail catastrophically.
That’s an appeal to authority fallacy if I’ve ever seen one.
They’re doing proof of concepts, not mass production. They’re at best answering is it possible, not is it a viable alternative.
100% not a cost optimized way to host, but much more about balancing cost vs manual maintenance.
Thanks!
