  • The idea is that there untold trillions worth of existing infrastructure and tools that are designed to be operated by a humanoid, so the hope is that by designing it close to a human form it will be able to perform task in an environment designed for human without having to design a different robot for each task.

Basically the idea is to create a robot that is good enough at doing a lot of things instead of one that is super efficient at one thing like the ones we use in industry right now.

There are a lot of use cases, but they all assume the robots reach a certain level of precision, speed and adaptability, which we are still far from.

  • I used it to generate documents required by auditors for various ISO certification that few people read in full but still need to be correct in case the auditor decides to do more than skim it.

Got some documents out in a couple of hours per doc instead of days, including a glossary made by feeding it back the finished document and telling it to make a glossary. I probably did in 3 days what would have taken me a month otherwise.

Honestly it can be quite useful right now. The mistake is thinking it can do everything.

  • Whether it’s true or not there’s a lot of supposition that he is afflicted with dyslexia and most likely hyperactive disorder since childhood and without diagnostic, let alone treatment he was left unable to acquire information from reading, most likely making him hate written text and spending his whole life “making shit up” to compensate for his lack of knowledge, borderline illiterateness and inability to focus long enough to retain information.

True or not, it’s coherent with his behaviour.
