It’s just a bug bro. There are performance mods that fix it by simply tweaking unreal settings.

The design isn’t flawed, but the implementation definitely is. kB+m have huge input delay and dropped input issues (at least on gamepass PC version)

Off the top of my head the workers in the mine had their scales removed which implied they were turning in to Crystal lizards, flame Lurkers controversy which was changed between the trailer and release, the fat boss with a bird in his head was changed but I can’t remember what, maneaters and prison bell ringers were pretty significantly overhauled.

They are details which seem small and don’t affect gameplay but affect the lore which Miyazaki clearly cares a lot about
