If this is true, then I will never renew any licenses for Jetbrains tools for my team ever again. They can get fucked.

Calm down Dahmer
You could do stuff like that with the older DOS versions of Norton Utilities. I used to do fun stuff like set my friend’s files as the drive label. He thought I was basically a wizard.
The days of Oink and what.cd are long gone
Sorta…
I use DS4 pads plugged in, but I’d love a newer model that didn’t have a battery, but had the same layout. So many of the cheaper gamepads come with terrible dpads.
I’m not quite sure why you’re being downvoted for this. I don’t use VS Code at all, but they have done a good job of getting VS Code to be extremely used and have made the predictable steps to prevent the open source versions from being equivalent/compatible, mostly by restricting the extensions.
My initial partial read of the headline had me thinking the same way, but this is their own garbage and they can change it all they like I suppose.
Definitely not you, they absolutely do this with snaps and have for a while. This was the main reason I stopped using Ubuntu.
I’ve seen a few caps like this, maybe not more impractical. I think it is asking to rip the stem right out of the switch or tear the whole socket out, but hey, what do i know?
Not exactly, when Crunhbang development ceased Crunchbang++ aka #!++came out and that distro is currently maintained. As far as I can tell #!++ is more of the same, which is a good thing. I had to retire my tired old eee pcs a long while back, so the NUC I replaced it with was fine with standard Debian since it had 16x the ram.
I was always a fan of crunchbang when I used a couple of eee pcs as servers. It ran very light.
It’s nearly lossess if you can connect and maintain a 990kbps connection, but it still doesn’t have enough bandwidth to do it truly lossless. I think it would require 1411kpbs to be actually lossless. It is still better than any codec I know of for bluetooth as far as that does, but bluetooth just kinda sucks for that sort of application.
To be even more leet, check out the included screensaver “Gibson”. You can hack the Gibson to find the garbage file like a one of the true Hackers ™.
I had to give up my retro game collection when I moved and I realized how long overdue it was. I hope someone out there is enjoying my old consoles and games.
Theft of both food and desk items was a huge issue at two different large office jobs I had. In the second one, HR and management didn’t care until someone stole the electronics from the break room and they finally put up cameras. I think the correlation is that those big offices had large phone sales and support staff that works in the building. Those roles underpaid, under-appreciated, and have high turnover. I can definitely see some of those people being on their last rope and not giving a shit about stealing from either the company or people they feel have “cushy” jobs.
Making inedible or spicy food to catch a food thief is a trick as old as time and I have even done it myself. There is no other way to catch them out usually.
Me too, but considering how many questions had AI in it…
I wish there had just been a single answer that said “Focus on Firefox and not AI”.
That’s so cool. My kids are probably too old to appreciate this, so I’ll just buy it for myself
