Predicting who Nikki Haley’s supporters might back in a future election depends on various factors such as the candidates, their policies, and the prevailing political climate at the time. Nikki Haley, a prominent Republican figure, served as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations under the Trump administration. However, she has also been critical of certain aspects of Trump’s presidency, particularly his handling of the January 6th Capitol riot.
They will back Trump because they are Republicans.
Many Republicans will, but many others are respectable people and will decide not to vote or will vote for Biden. It’s shitty to assume all Republicans are asshole Trump voters.
They’re not “Trump voters,” they’re “Republican party voters.”
Nikki Haley herself is a very extreme candidate, so I’m not sure “respectable” is the right word.
Her positions:
- Supports a federal abortion ban, with no exceptions for IVF
- Supports rolling back all action against climate change
- “Don’t say gay” law isn’t extreme enough for her
- Supports discrimination against trans people
- Supports cuts to medicare and social security
- Against fiscal support during the pandemic
- Against labor unions
- Wouldn’t admit that the civil war was about slavery until she eventually relented due to a week of pressure, but even then claimed that “The US has never been a racist country.”
Actually a number of them are never-Trumpers. They did a few interviews after she dropped out and found that a number of them stating that though they were registered Republicans that they were going to vote for Biden over Trump.
I think it also helps that she didn’t bend the knee and endorse him when dropping out.
RFK Jr. maybe?
I can see some of them doing this. They did a few interviews with Haley supporters after she dropped out, and though a lot of them said they’d take Biden over Trump, I can also see RFK Jr. taking some votes because of his more right-leaning rhetoric on certain issues compared to Biden.
Removed, seems to be a spammish source.
