ICE appears to have learned nothing about blatantly lying and ignoring lawful procedures. Eventually, judges will have to choose between treating ICE procedures as most likely unlawful and the constitution. Seems obvious to everyone but them when they can only muster a firmly worded rebuke.

If the most you can muster to defend a judge who didn’t want to act as a deputized federal agent for ICE is, “The way the FBI went about this was unprofessional.” Then perhaps you shouldn’t be interviewed on matters of fascism.
For every dollar spent on IRS staffing, etc, it’s estimated to be at least a 7x return. Any disruptions are going to cost a lot with that in mind. Also, I find it a little misguided to question the IRS, an agency that shows its work’s opinion on DOGE, an “agency?” Which has failed to show its work and has been caught lying frequently.
