I think the most humane thing to do would be to evacuate both sides out of the area, permanently relocate them to different countries, and then just pave over Gaza. No one gets the land then. It sounds cruel, but so does letting the two sides kill each other. Both sides have done awful things that violate human rights. They don’t deserve a war that forces other countries to pick a side. That’s just my view.
Moving people to a place where they would have equal rights to others, and avoiding a world war, would not be genocide. Relocating groups of people is not the same as jailing them in a concentration camp.
The perpetrator forcibly transferred one or more persons. *
Such person or persons belonged to a particular national, ethnical, racial or religious group.
The perpetrator intended to destroy, in whole or in part, that national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as
such.
The transfer was from that group to another group.
The person or persons were under the age of 18 years.
The perpetrator knew, or should have known, that the person or persons were under the age of 18 years.
The conduct took place in the context of a manifest pattern of similar conduct directed against that group
or was conduct that could itself effect such destruction
* The term “forcibly” is not restricted to physical force, but may include threat of force or coercion, such as that caused by fear of violence,
duress, detention, psychological oppression or abuse of power, against such person or persons or another person, or by taking advantage of a
coercive environment
I don’t know if I would trust that. Both sides would potentially do harmful things to the land before being moved. I’d suspect they would plant land mines and trip wires before relocating. I would just have both groups moved to entirely different places. Move the Palestinians to Iran and move the Israeli’s to some place like South Africa.
I’d love to know your thinking here. You picked the one country that’s been constantly reporting Isreal to the international courts for genocide.
Or were you imagining a District 9 situation?
The best candidate for Israel would be the US, that’s where their biggest source of immigrants is. If you’re moving millions of people you’d need to send them to wealthy countries.
Eh, I figured it would keep them in check without the culture shock of entering a nation with a vast mix of religions. Then again, South Africa might have more Muslims which would just stir the pot, huh?
Interesring approach. It may not have masses of religions but it’s sometimes called the Rainbow Nation because it has like 8 major ethnicities/cultures.
But since the majority of older people were victims of Apartheid (during which Israel supported the racist Apartheid regime at the time) and South Africa have been calling out Israel for practicing apartheid for decades, it would be about as stirring the pot as you can get.

You did it bro. You picked the one objectively wrong choice. Congratulation!
It’s a troll that got kicked off of Reddit last week under the same username.
glassing the region seems worse. but you know what they say, always end the bloodline.
Fun fact, that’s still genocide.
Moving people to a place where they would have equal rights to others, and avoiding a world war, would not be genocide. Relocating groups of people is not the same as jailing them in a concentration camp.

The children can stay. Move the adults. A neutral nation’s army can be stationed in Israel and Palestine to set up services for them.
So, a police state for children?
If “the area” being evacuated includes Israel, I could potentially get behind this.
Yes! I feel both groups should be evacuated and relocated to different countries.
Alternately, they could just trade. Palestinians get moved to Israel, Israelis get moved to Gaza, since they want it so much.
