Being intractable on basically everything gives away they honestly don’t think he’s an existential threat, though. It’s a pretty big tell. If they honestly thought Trump was going to throw them in Gitmo next January, they’d be willing to give Netanyahu a sad or end the banking prohibition on state legal weed stores or any number of low-hanging fruit, easy wins they don’t take because they don’t want to give the hippies a win more than they actually care if Trump wins.
