So were they too broke or too disorganized to get in? Either way, it’s not a good look.

Y’all are not cynical enough. It may be possible they simply didn’t have someone go “Don’t forget about this” but this little snafu will be twisted by them saying “See? These liberals aren’t even allowing Trump on the ballot!”
Even though it isn’t true, it’s just another thing they will try to use to rile up their voters.
They used up all their resources ensuring that they were included in the pamphlet for The Oregonian Landscaping Company.
At the cost of not winning a state he wouldn’t win in 100 years anyway, he gets to rail that a state worked to keep him from having a fair shot.
