Issues with the electoral college can be resolved by getting rid of the Reapportionment Act and moving towards Star or RCV voting. Both are significantly easier to do than passing an Amendment to get rid of the EC.

When applying to a US government position with a certain security clearance, they will do background checks of you, your family and extended family, if need be.

And I’m sure that can be the case for any employer who needs background checks. That being said, I also suspect some of these people in the database are dead.

Yeah she isn’t inspiring, which is what we need. If she came out today, though, and said she will bring the law down on the GOP’s corrupt elements… That might win enough hearts and minds to stir folks out to vote for her. And a good VP pick would inspire further confidence.

The cynic in me says these articles are all about fear mongering to permanently increase spend baselines in the MIC. I think that’s why he switched. If he runs again, he loses the D next to his name on the ballot, thereby convincing his constituents he’s not a Democrat in the vilified label that the Conservatives throw around, especially in a state as red as West Virginia.

For almost 20 years, Google’s phones have been pretty friendly to ROM flashing. I suspect that so long as Apple and Samsung have such a large market share, that will continue.
