Google Maps is testing a new ad format that gives users the option to add a stop for a sponsored location during navigation.

Jesus, that is a gross way to inject advertising into turn-by-turn navigation.

Edit/update from 9to5google so this post does not spread what is apparently inaccurate information: https://9to5google.com/2024/07/08/google-maps-pop-up-quick-detour-ad/

I’m not the one trying to order people around.

I agree. It is quite sad that you think you can order people around.

Not as sad as your bigotry against trans people, but still sad.

You’re getting sadder by the minute.

And yet I’ve never said anything bigoted like suggesting that trans women aren’t women.

And of course, it’s interesting that you call me a troll when you say things like:

Fascism is a socialist movement. Always was.

              https://lemmy.world/comment/10970763

              Or:

Plastic is better for the environment than everything else.

              https://lemmy.world/comment/10956668

              Or what about:

Vegans should stop existing. The reasoning is simple: humans are part of nature and rely on other animals one way or another. But this reliance is always non consented. Thus vegan existence is animal abuse.

All within the past week, including your transphobic comment.

Of course, these are comments of yours which have not been deleted.

And then there’s all the communities you, the non-troll, have been banned from:

Hostility, misinformation, bigotry… I don’t think I’m the one who has an arguing and trolling issue. I wonder how long it will take you to be banned from this community?
