I'm looking at Bromite as a privacy browser solution on Android. I'm not looking to go crazy, but I don't feel Brave or Firefox is my best choice. What should I be doing?

you should always look at the git activity.

    https://github.com/bromite/bromite

Two years since a update, this project is not suitable for production use.

I recommend mull browser instead, updated last week, https://github.com/divested-mobile/mull-fenix

Thanks for that. I was just looking at the Github project and noticed the same.

Also just to add, while Bromite is dead, the fork of it Cromite is still alive and well

I use Firefox mobile day to day and keep both Mull and Brave installed. Unfortunately right now Brave is recommended on mobile for privacy:

Firefox (Gecko)-based browsers on Android lack site isolation,1 a powerful security feature that protects against a malicious site performing a Spectre-like attack to gain access to the memory of another website you have open.2 Chromium-based browsers like Brave will provide more robust protection against malicious websites.

      https://www.privacyguides.org/en/mobile-browsers/#brave-sync

Hope to switch back to Firefox & Mull only once that’s fixed
