Then Assange wikileaks is not a news organization, they’re not qualified to do anything but promote computer hacking. Thus, no journalism freedom. That what you’re saying?

Whether or not you believe Assange is justifiable, if he aided or encouraged people to hack/release classified files, then yes he went beyond journalism. Journalists get brought information from whistleblowers, they don’t actively encourage hacking.

if the government can prove that the WikiLeaks founder actively encouraged or aided Manning in stealing government documents, First Amendment protections would vanish.

      Nice whataboutism btw.

It’s not whataboutism. I just used your theory of what a news organization needs to be.And, yes they do encourage hacking. One of the charges that Assange pleaded guilty to was exactly that.

A news story is not a news organization.

You never understood my point, so don’t try to say you were using it, you literally tried to use Assange as an example of a journalist when he’s plead guilty to encouraging the release of classified documents.

A news story is not a news organization.

Yes, but the ability to reliably, responsibly, and truthfully report a story comes almost entirely from the credibility of the organization, of which Fox has none.

I don’t understand it, but you can’t prove it wrong. I see.

Sometimes, like this one, the proof is in the pudding. There is video of Haley saying what she said. It was rebroadcast on ABC, CBS, NBC.

Then use them as the source, a credible secondhand source that vets a shit firsthand source is always better than the shit non-vetted firsthand source.
