Absolutely I find it childish, belittling and asinine, but someone needs to stoop to Donald Trump’s level of insults, speak his language to get directly on his nerves. This group targets ad buys near Trump’s golf clubs, on Fox News, and on golf channels so he and the people around him will know about it for sure.
The Lincoln Project is part of what should be a diverse multi-pronged strategy to elect Harris, with former Republicans at the helm for this line of attack. This gives room for Democrats to be smarter about staying an appropriate distance away from Trump’s shit-flinging rhetoric.
I think that’s their goal. Just be an asshole that happens during trumps favourite shows (Lincoln project is infamous for buying ads targeted to wherever trump will be during his favourite Fox shows.)
I think they are legit designed just to piss the guy off. And as weird as it is seeing ads being petty, juvenile and targeted at one man, as long as the punching bag is donald, I’m kinda down with it.
