New poll shows whether Harris or Trump is leading in favorability rating
A new poll conducted by ABC News and IPSOS shows that Vice President Kamala Harris has a wide lead over former President Donald Trump in favorability rating. A panel of political experts joins CNN’s Alex Marquardt to discuss the impact on the race for the White House.
It’s just incredible that the editors are like “yes this is a good headline print that”. Like, I know why they do. But the fact that it’s so nakedly and obviously ad-impression-driven is just absurd.
Favorability translates to voter enthusiasm. You can say that you’ll vote for a particular candidate, but will you enthusiastically go to the polls and vote?
Strong disfavoravilty can also translate to enthusiasm. I know a lot of people turned up at the polls last time because they were meh on Biden but very much against Trump.
