    Completely out of the loop on this one… Do we think he’s corrupt or that corrupt people are pushing him out because he’s not corrupt?

      He staffed his administration with a bunch of cronies and they’ve been up to various extortion and pay for play schemes. I’m unaware of he himself has gotten directly caught up in anything.

        Does it even matter at this point? He’s clearly a terrible judge of character and can’t be trusted to find good people to run the city.

        This indictment is about him knowingly and illegally taking captive funds from foreign countries. He’s up to something already.

        He may also be involved in the “buy favors from city hall” scheme most of his direct reports were engaged in, but that is still unknown.
