Up to 2,000 voters in Wisconsin’s heavily Democratic capital of Madison were sent duplicate absentee ballots, but a city spokesperson says that none had been returned, all affected voters were being contacted and there were multiple safeguards in place to ensure only one ballot is counted.
How is it being promoted by me? I just posted the article. So is every single person in this community who posts an article “promoting” the person in the article?! Say what?!
The correct word is “propagating”
How so? I didn’t write the article, didn’t edit the article, don’t host the article, and I have nothing to do with the news org that published the article. In fact, I haven’t even published it, I merely posted a link to the article.
And that news article is seen by WAY more eyes on it’s own website than here on Lemmy.
How in any concept of the word is that “propagating”?
So is every single one of the posters who posts an article here “propagating?” What?! lol
Yes, people select articles and propagate/disseminate them by choosing to post them. They often select based on their motive.
I wouldn’t expect that to be a controversial fact. There is some active editorial intent involved in choosing articles to post.
But I have posted articles critical of Trump, critical of Stein, critical of Harris, and also articles praising Trump, praising Stein, and praising Harris.
So if you are framing me as agreeing with every viewpoint that is expressed in my posted articles, how does it work since I post so many conflicting viewpoints?!
And I created and mod a political news community where others have posted articles praising Harris, critical of Stein, and critical of Trump. And totally trashing me. And i have let both the articles and posts stay up, even tho I could have removed them. Seems like a lot of conflicting viewpoints for you to imply I have some agenda.
