Although it’s a bad idea to do major things over the internet, I want to really test the waters after a HW election. For a Trump election, it would probably be just a massive nationwide riot.

After voting, there should definitely be pressure put not just to the D-Party, but the entire US. The polycrisis in almost entirely the fault of the entire United States; there can be no blame shifted to this or that particular candidate, even tho Trump is a piece of shit.

What do you think should be done? I suppose there should be a mass strike, but I’m open to ideas. Anything here I will consider in my own time; there’s no point of convincing people of the same point over and over.

In order to blame the bad actions of the United States for the “polycrisis”, you really need to excuse all of the bad actions of everyone else.

To pick a timely issue : blaming the USA for the actions of Israel in their* Gaza territory we would need to excuse Israel for the actions of Israel.

If a general strike would have any effect id support it, but the target should be the specific actions of our country rather than the actions of other sovereign nations.

(*: If the govt of israel does not recognize a distinct Palestinian state, and the pseudo-governments of Palestine cannot exert sovereign control to keep Israel out, then Palestine is [unjustly] and [occupied] territory of Israel.)

There will be no strike of any sort. If HW wins liberals will go back to brunch and ignore huge issues assuming their party will fix things and conservatives will keep preaching end of the world. Vice versa of trump wins.

The issue is voters always assume the next election will change stuff, when all it does is keep things the same.
