Ok guys, so now I’m confused. Everyone here has been telling me that Trump and Harris are both the same with regards to Israel’s genocide? So surely this person gave to both sides, right?

Isn’t the max political donation supposed to be like $1300? I’m not looking to start a discussion about the specific loopholes they’re using to skirt that rule. I’m confident that would only be depressing. I just find it insane that it’s clear enough what is happening that a headline like this can be written without being cause for either a libel suit against the author or criminal campaign finance charges being brought against this billionaire. We’re all just like “yep, that’s where we are now”.

Yep… America: land of the fee, home of the billionaire.

A government of the corporation, by the corporation, for the corporation.

      :(

      Not for a PAC.

And anyone can set up a PAC. John Oliver did one a few years ago too.

Once you have one of those, you can donate an unlimited amount of money.

Citizens United vs the FEC was the beginning of the end of democracy for America.

Israeli-American billionaire Miriam Adelson has spent $95 million on her political action committee (PAC)

The loophole is in the opening sentence though. We gotta ban pacs (difficulty god mode)

They need cash to campaign after the election too, coups don’t organize themselves.
