I’d be disappointed if they bought Geralt back tbh.
The house you get in Blood and Wine felt like a retirement home. I completed it, quit the game in the house with Yenn. He’s done.
That and Geralt’s story got a natural end in Blood and Wine, and it would be stupid to bulldoze that.
Because the dude saved the world like nine times already. He filled up his punch card and gets to retire now.
I thought that was the expectation?
They introduced us to a younger Witcher that the Geralt was training, Geralt’s story came to an end…
It felt like that’s what they were intentionally setting up, a totally Ciri-focused next game.
I’ve only played a few minutes of Witcher 3 so far and even I know Ciri is an apprentice to Geralt! I said to myself, “I don’t know who these people are yet but I guess she’ll be the main character in a sequel.”
Lets just wait for the backlash from the right for making the game woke by having a female protagonist
