People act like every lie is just a flesh wound, but if you stab the body of the truth every day, every day will be worse than the previous one.
In his deeply partisan speech at Fort Bragg, Trump made the baseless claim that the protests against immigration raids in LA are being led by paid “rioters bearing foreign flags with the aim of continuing a foreign invasion”.
And he’s using this wording very intentionally; he’s going to use this “foreign invasion” to justify martial law.
It’s Canadians trying to start a civil war, hoping to contain Trump’s thirst for mayhem within the us border, and he’s biting hook line sinker.
The lies only work if there are enough idiots around to believe everything that is said
Trump is only part of the problem … an entire chorus of idiots surround him and enable everything he says … while at the same time an entire audience of people are willing to believe everything …
… and at the same time a vast throng of people everywhere just watching it all without saying a word or lifting a finger to do anything about it. I’m not saying they should violently revolt but at the very least, everyone should be out in the streets wanting to get their country back to what it was.

I’m not sure about that, but the reply a little down that says people will get voluntold to attend if not enough are willing sounds probable. I served under Dubya and had a similar experience. I usually just volunteered for watch when something like that happened lol

I love that we continue to fact check his speeches. He is just saying shit to people that will only believe him. If they are reading the fact check then they are already against him.
