Jebus, this is the stupidest country that has ever existed.

I just threw it on the family laptop to give it another life. So far it’s great, and I would honestly suggest it as a regular user desktop system. My kids will be fine with it, so would my mom, and any of my non-tech-savvy friends.

Personally I probably won’t switch from my beloved LMDE, but I’m also a greybeard nerd who’s set in my ways.

Here’s my conspiracy brain take. With turnips rapidly declining health, they know they need the next puppet to take his place. J.V. dunce is all they’ve got but his wife will never be accepted by the cult. So, this kirk shit happens and all of the sudden they have an already cult approved stepford wife, complete with a perfect sympathy story for cover (‘he was helping me with my grief and it just happened like it was meant to be from god!’).

If any of this happens, it just feels too cooked up, a desperate throw of the dice. But, I think the magats are just the right kind of stupid and evil for it to work.

I’m still not willing to get one. I am statistically safer without one in the house. I do have a couple large dogs, I collect knives and I have collapsible batons stashed in key locations.

I work with John, my role is as the replacement for another John. I’m trying to be open and fix the issues, but they just want John back, and the other John who’s here, is so territorial, even when I try to help, he just tries to undermine and fight me.

So glad someone else feels this way. I’ve been pretty certain we’ve been headed for balkanization since the first election. This districting fight feels like a logical step on the way.

This country is too big and diverse to accept a turnip dictatorship much longer.

The fact that he’s gotten away with every single one tells me we need to redefine the “worst” in history. He’s extremely fucking good at lying, it’s his only reliable metric.

Yes, completely. He’s going to walk and people in power will use the legal system to put down any pushback.

All of this was obvious from the get-go. He was running to keep himself out of prison and to enrich himself. The country fell for it, and we have no idea how bad it’s going to get.
