I am also a huge fan of Lower Decks. It will be missed! The crossover episode with SNW was fantastic.

Strange New Worlds is great Trek if you haven’t seen it.
Yes this is how I have mine setup to do just like OP is wanting.
I use it and it works great except their eddie client is kinda garbage (at least on Windows) so I switched to using Wiresock on Windows and then later gluetun after setting up a Linux machine.
Also what type of jobs are you applying for?
It transports you 2 minutes into the future to the time when your toast is ready.
These movie sequels are getting out of hand.
Most niche/novelty electronic devices like this give you a USB port and a 1M USB cable and make you figure the rest out on your own.
like, you can’t even be bothered to spend 5 minutes entertaining your pet?
And this is the method of play that requires the least amount of effort since you only need to press a button and flick your wrist around.
That said I might buy something like this just because I like to nerd out on electronics like this.
Some say your page is under construction to this very day.
Our kid is kinda spoiled and also needs her stuff purged every now and then. It’s pretty easy to tell which toys she cherishes and which ones have been sitting in pieces in the bottom of a tub for the last 6 months. I’m sure most people that do this will get their kid involved in the process. Hoarding can also lead to lasting effects as an adult. Imagine what their friends and classmates think about the clutter when they see or hear about it.
Not entirely a ‘car accident’ but I was driving down the interstate and narrowly dodged a shovel head (the handle had broken off) sitting in the far left passing lane in a construction zone. The car behind me hit it and I watched in my rear view mirror as it flew up in the air and traveled all the way over to the right side travel lane and fucking demolished the windshield of a car. I was expecting the car to jerk and swerve from the driver freaking out from this object falling out of the sky right into their windshield, but they just very calmly merged to the shoulder and stopped.
The other one was me barely missing an empty pallet sitting in the middle of my lane when it was dark out and seeing the headlights of the car tailgating behind me do a complete 360 as they tried to dodge it. If they’d left a little more room between us they probably could have followed my lead and drove around in, but their short following distance left no time for them to react.
Definitely not as well but you can still use them. Cars didn’t even have vacuum assisted brakes up into the 1960s and 1970s
I think they’re talking about the new Hummer EV.
A vehicle shutting down in the middle of the freeway can easily cause multiple accidents.
but the observed pattern does 100% apply to other things.
Sure, if you retroactively go back and look for patterns where it matches something but that isn’t a very useful exercise.
There aren’t. Mercedes system only works in two states on freeways during the daytime on sunny days at speeds below 40MPH with clearly marked lines and no construction. There are so many qualifiers that it’s basically useless outside of the attention grabbing headlines.
Which can be a failure in itself when you spend 10 years and tens of billions building something “perfectly” only for it to break on its maiden voyage. That makes you wonder what was the point of doing everything so methodically when they could have taken a more efficient and iterative approach.
Can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like this and don’t see how it could be much of a viable product but you could just cut the cord off any headphone jack and plug it in (not sure how many tvs come with headphone jacks either) to achieve the same goal or get a phone with an IR blaster like another commenter suggested.
