What do you mean by “bloated”? How many more bytes does the flatpak version have compared to its counterpart?

It depends on how you use the LLM and I personally think it helped me learn NixOS/Nix/Flakes much faster than without it. You can choose to not use LLMs if you’re worried though.

NixOS paired with an LLM gives you a customized PC that won’t change. There isn’t a better option for longevity + hands off user experience than NixOS. The only downside is the big initial time investment.

I just found out that what I pictured was EndeavourOS was ElementaryOS. I was so confused with the Endeavor recommendations because i thought it was based on Ubuntu 💀

You should probably start by listing the programs you need. Everything else such as gaming/customization is distro specific.

Nobara. I’ve always had issues with Mint and any other Debian/Ubuntu based distro but that was during my NVIDIA days so it might be because of that.
