Meh. If it has no major flaws (except the blandness) they can pretty much prop up the sales with marketing.

That was the one thing they didn’t fuck up. Ironically I remember them breaking that system a bit with a recent update (maybe they fixed it since, I have not played it for a while now)
BFV was ok. A little starved for content but it wasn’t a bad launch imo. It could have become amazing if they actually released that eastern front update they teased for ages
Maybe they introduced a new bug, but last time I played that would happen because they were spending too much time hauling stuff, adding more haulers in some strategic locations usually fixed it
This. I didn’t spend nearly 1000 bucks on hardware that ensures that I basically spend more time on the POST screen than on the rest of the entire boot sequence to keep the thing on 24/7
Let me rephrase it then : “in order to not bomb your civilian ass, we need to know where the Ukrainian armed forces are located”. Even if the Ukrainian army was using their own civilians as meat shields that wouldn’t make much sense because the Russians would still have to bomb civilians in order to bomb the army… So the only explanation is that they’re basically saying “rat on your army, or else” here.
Maybe I’m doing it wrong or I’m just too shy to socialize with strangers in these games, but as someone who has fond memories of my favorite TF2/killing floor community servers, I feel like there is basically no sense of community in these games now that matchmaking is king and private hosting is a thing of the past
As far as I know, right now the main problem with flying cars is that they are nowhere near as idiot-proof as a normal car, and don’t really solve any transportation problem since most countries’ air regulations agencies would require them to exclusively take off and land in airports… Where you can usually find tons of planes that can go much further (and are much more cost effective, as you pointed out)
I keep joking that we should make video games mandatory for millionaires when this subject comes up but I legit think that playing some grindy game or management games would make this type of people less greedy to some degree, because at their core they appeal to our seemingly primal urge of always hoarding more resources.
Are you sure about that ? I don’t know that much about these kind of dynamics because I am not a soulless capitalist ghoul, but I remember reading that Kotick actually did that kind of stuff mostly by himself and was quite good at it (which did translate into more money being made, which probably kept investors happy and cemented his position)
Oh look it’s the thing everyone said would happen way back when Activision bought Blizzard
audible C++ programmer disgust
Can unfortunately confirm
It’s not uncommon to see people expressing disdain for other distros. I feel like it’s tongue in cheek 99% of the time though
Obviously this is because of Marxist professors or whatever it was Elon said and not at all because conservatives seemingly saw the handmaid’s tale and decided that it was an instructions manual
Wait there’s a free and easy GitHub script ? I bought an OEM key for 2 bucks like a sucker
I’ve heard a Javelin missile is near 100% efficient if it can get a good lock. Wikipedia says “The Pentagon claimed that of the first 112 Javelins fired by the Ukrainians since the start of the war, 100 missiles had hit their target”
Yeah last time I saw a map of the internet cables it looked like there was quite a lot of redundancy so I’m not convinced they could pull it off fully to be honest.
I don’t understand, why did you post a random picture of some pavement ?
You’re missing out. Ryzens are awesome
