Now if only anyone could trust a single thing he said or believe this was true…

It’s worth reading both sides for context. I am well aware of which papers cater to whom. Only reading your own circle jerk doesn’t actually make you well informed though.

Only if you want to spread Donald Trump‘s lies while pretending they’re facts. I don’t particularly care for spreading all-right propaganda and misinformation, knowing they are lies, as you admit, nor do all of the people who are downvoting this post.

I don’t need to read articles like this to know that Donald Trump is a liar, and this article certainly doesn’t point that out.

Knowing lies as one thing. You are actively and knowingly spreading them.

With the caption “he’s lying again.” Sticking your head in the sand and copying the ministry of magic’s approach after the triwizard cup isn’t going to help anything. Trying to “ban” misinformation just leads to lies on both sides. Reading both sides yourself and knowing what parts are true and lies allows you to correctly argue it to others.

Trying to “ban” misinformation just leads to lies on both sides.

Explain how. Also, show me where I ever called for a “ban on misinformation”. Nice strawman, though.

Sticking your head in the sand and copying the ministry of magic’s approach after the triwizard cup isn’t going to help anything

So now you’re attacking me personally because I called you out for intentionally spreading false information— and all you have is some “both sides” nonsense claiming - without evidence - that, unless you get to spread Trump’s claims as facts… what, “the other side” will suddenly start doing it too? Lmao

Reading both sides yourself and knowing what parts are true and lies allows you to correctly argue it to others.

That’s not the same as spreading lies as truth, which is what you are doing.

Attacking people for posting or discussing something, even in a negative light, because you disagree with it is literally the definition of a “misinformation ban.” When you do this you don’t rid the world of that information, you force both extremes to retreat their own echo chambers and make the divide even worse. Just because you agree with your own echo chamber doesn’t mean you can force it on others by shouting down anyone you disagree with (or sometimes agree with like in this scenario). All that does is make people ignore you and think you’re an asshole. The only way to actually convince those in the middle is to understand both sides and explain why yours is right. If people think shouting down and banning other thoughts are your only tools they assume you’re a tool with no actual substance behind your reasoning.

You’re intentionally presenting Trump’s obvious lies as fact. You didn’t link to an article which criticizes his lying or an article debunking his lies— you presented the actual article - from a known questionable, alt-right outlet - as fact. You are complicit in spreading the lie. And I called you out on that.

Whining that “oh I’m just starting a conversion,” and claiming both-sides nonsense is a transparent and feeble attempt to backtrack and excuse your actions, and nobody’s buying it. Because it’s ridiculous.

Oh, and complaining about being personally attacked while then calling me and “asshole” and a “tool” is the exact type of hypocrisy I’d expect from a Trump fan. My criticism of you for knowingly spreading lies isn’t a personal attack, and that bad feeling you have when you read this is called “shame”.

                Trying to “ban” misinformation

lol- everything is a ‘ban’. Love that. Can you quote what they said that you think equates to a ‘ban’ of anything?

Sticking your head in the sand and copying the ministry of magic’s approach after the triwizard cup isn’t going to help anything.

Yikes… your pop culture references need work.
