And it's all with the goal of further cementing a patriarchal Christian white nationalist power structure in the United States.

The “gates” in this case are immigration fence gates. It’s about immigration.

I choose to believe he’s talking about the Pantera song Cemetery Gates

Both because it’s a great song and because the singer of Pantera is a Nazi. Fuck Pantera for making such a great song come out of such a shitty human.

Ah fuck, that sucks. I just read a breakdown of his antics and it looks like whenever he’s drunk or on drugs, he loses the ability to keep a lid on the Nazism.

Never listening to them again. :(

The author forgets that LGBTQ+ people, women, and non-white people not only can, but absolutely SHOULD get strapped. Because no matter who gets elected, the cops are going to be on the side of the capital-owning class, and white men with power. Anyone that tells you that you should give up your guns is just trying to make it easier for the police state to oppress you.

Dont mention you have a firearm on ya. Im a Redneck and the rule of thumb is that the cops should never know you have a firearm, lie through your fucken teeth if ya hafta. Cops, Pinkertons, and Sherriffs should be treated as the threats they are, which is to say dont be stupid but dont trust them at all.

When you have well-armed protestors, cops suddenly get very nervous about firing tear gas, rubber bullets, and starting shit in general. Cops don’t like even odds; they want to have 20 people shooting at one person.

that sounds like a sure way to get national guards involved. and a lot of cops are scared and use their gun easily if they feel absolutely any threat and a bunch of armed protestors are going to make the tear gas skipped and they go straight to shooting

And yet, it has been used a number of times, and the National Guard units have not been involved. Reality doesn’t match your claim.

The trick is that the protestors need to be both peaceful and armed. Once violence starts, yes, the National Guard would likely get called. But cops confronted by a crowd of demonstrators that are all as well armed as they are don’t tend to indiscriminately use force.
