As far as I know, she is the only Democrat challenging Biden for the nomination.

Look, I’m not trying to antagonize you. But since you see yourself as being grounded in pragmatic realpolitik (while dismissing me as an impractical idealist), I’m gonna be frank with you.

Sooner or later, you’re going to realize that Biden can’t win.

Maybe it’ll be one week before the election, when the Republicans are running non-stop ads showing clips from Biden’s terrible debate performance, where he talks about immigrant women being raped by their sisters (yes, he said that) before trailing off as if he himself is confused by what he’s saying.

Or maybe it will be sooner when it’s still possible to replace Biden with a different candidate.

Oh, I realize it. Look at my post history. Here is what I have been pushing:

      • Biden is simply not up to the task. Not just the campaign, but the office as well. The sooner he realizes it, the better off we all are.

      • There is a built-in understudy who has spent the last 4 years doing nothing but waiting to take over just in case the old guy croaks. One who automatically gains the benefit of incumbency the moment Biden realizes it, and who has the most legitimate claim to the ticket once he backs out .

      • That idea infuriates the progressives here, who thinks she’s just as bad as everyone else.

Moderate Democrats are like vegetables. They’re not the most appetizing thing on the menu, but they give you the nutrients to fight fascism. And if you don’t get enough fiber in your diet, you end up full of shit. Please, progressives, eat your peas!

Oh, I would love for Kamala Harris to take over from Biden. (Mostly because she has given some very weak signals of being less pro-Israel than Biden.)

But Kamala hasn’t thrown her hat in the ring. Marianne Williamson has.
