Left leaning voters are a majority, the problem is we’re suffering under a biased electoral system and a lot of them have lost faith in the potential for government to actually do things for them so many don’t turn out. Issue polling is usually even further left. Stir them up and give them hope for the future rather than just saying “what are you gonna do, he’s worse” as they jettison another ideal to chase the center. It’s a huge problem that right now we’re not up 3-4%, because we need to overshoot to manage the EC bias, and that’s not because the country has gained a lot of fascists, it’s because he’s lost a lot of black, Hispanic, Muslim, and youth votes.
