What does AOC hope to gain by going so hard in the paint for Joe? Like the initial statement of support I get, even if I don’t like it, but it seems like everyone else was content to just say their support and move on, and she’s stuck saying it over and over.

She sees 3+ years of America moving in the right direction in the executive branch. And an upcoming end to the U.S. being a Democratic Republic. The courts are bad now people think, wait till more seats are replaced. It will be maga ass kissers all the way up. The old conservatives replaced with young, and the more logical ones forced out. They will permanently own the judicial branch, and arrest all opposition. Meaning congress falls as well. “Middle” class thinks they are safe, their money is worth nothing. The irony is solar panels will become a hot commodity, as they can locally source energy while interstates and groceries stores get shut out of having food/gas/etc. War will be our end. And the rest of the world will be hit hard by our not trading and economy collapsing. Russia takes Ukraine, China takes Taiwan. The west falls. AOC stands with her back to that while getting moved by the very people who could have helped her save their lives.

      Or maybe it’s just fine

because we don’t beat dumbfuck if people don’t get out to vote. for all their asshattery, republicans get one thing right - they tow the party line when it counts. by contrast, dems have been projecting increasing hysteria and doubt over the last several weeks. how does that motivate anyone?

i think AOC cares about results. the results aren’t going to be good if dems don’t get it together and vote for Biden or whichever politician gets the nomination. doesn’t even matter at this point who it is.
