Fewer buses from Texas have been arriving in blue cities since the start of the year because of a steep drop in the number of migrants apprehended at the border.

Of course he wants to keep sending them, he gets a kickback from his mates at the bus company for spending taxpayer dollars.

Records show that it costs the state $1,233.39 per migrant to bus them to sanctuary cities. Someone’s making a healthy profit.

        $124,603,616.19 total expenditures/(2,245 buses*45 migrants per bus)

With Biden stepping aside, inflation dropping below 3%, and significantly fewer migrants crossing the border, it seems that every single issue that the GOP has been campaigning on for the last year or so is magically disappearing before their very eyes. That’s why they’re flailing so badly. They simply hate to talk policy.

The Democrats are doing this just to make trump look bad, just like COVID! It’ll go back to normal right after the election! /s

Sadly, I’m sure that’s what many on the right legitimately think.

The same Sleepy Joe, who is a senile imbicile that masterminded COVID just to make the orange turd look bad, then was single-handedly responsibile for mass voter fraud?

For the life of me, I can’t see how this isn’t human trafficking. The migrants are generally NOT told where they’re going, or they’re straight up lied to. Anyone who organized something like this should go to prison for human trafficking.

Also if you look at the economics of this action, you’re exporting valuable laborers, consumers, and future census population to your rival states. Dumb move.

I can’t believe Biden hasn’t, through the Dept of Homeland Security, just set the policy that migrants can’t leave the state in which they were processed or else they, and any accessories to the act, are violating immigration law.

That sounds like a terrible policy to me. Why should legal migrants be prevented from traveling across states? That’s a needless restriction on their rights. Not to mention that MANY important cities are on the border between two states. What if they live in Louisville, and want to do some work just a couple miles away, but in the neighboring state?

Doesn’t seem reasonable to charge them when they don’t really have agency in the decision. Make it illegal to transport them and fine the bus company out of business.

I believe most of them willingly get on the buses, albeit under false pretenses.

Every person who organized or provides labor or money to this effort should be prosecuted. Drove the bus? Prosecuted. Provided translation? Prosecuted. Did payroll for the organization that plans it? Prosecuted. Whole things a criminal effort.
