But one word signals it’s more than just that — Omar’s mention of “defensive” capabilities also serves as a pointed critique of one of her closest colleagues and ideological allies in the House: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

I can’t agree, bottom line is war isn’t strictly both sides. if isreal were just loading up defensive capabilities and say holding up nukes that they don’t use… that would be one thing. But the fact is they are using their allience with the US, and their defensive capabilities to enable them to strike at others.
Think of it like a playground. We’ve got this kid jimmy here who has a long history of both picking, and getting into fights.
We make a rule that’s magically unbreakable, no one can hurt jimmy when he’s standing in this area. At first it seems good… but now Jimmy runs out, sucker punches people then runs back into the circle and yells “I’m safe”. Later on we find out Jimmy’s learned he can throw rocks at other kids, while standing in the circle.
I don’t think it’s fair to argue, well the circle is purely defensive, we don’t want any kids getting hurt, removing jimmy’s circle of safety is just letting jimmy get beat up, without stopping him from beating up other kids.
Which IMO is just not true, the circle is enabling jimmy to be as bad as he wants to be to everyone else.
