Can we please for the love of God have a judge actually enforce their order for once? He has shown over and over that he’s just going to do what he wants. The rest of us would have to sleep on a jail bench for a few days then still be forced to comply.
That’s what happens when the Supreme Court decides that when the president does it, it’s not illegal. He does what he wants because the Republican justices decided that The President is above the law. There literally isn’t any legal way for a judge to enforce their orders over Trump.

We’re approaching a huge turning point in US (and world) history. Either republicans are going to mostly lose for a long time (at least 6 years if I were to guess), maybe until they demonstrate they’ve changed, OR they are going to succeed at rigging or cancelling elections so they don’t have to give up power. I don’t think we can expect much in between those two extremes. Makes my stomach queasy as hell to think about.

That there will be no turning point. Once the mechanisms for fascism have been established, unless an actual revolution happens, the next government will always abuse them.
