    If it was staged, as many have speculated, what would be the advantage of doing it now, rather than 3 months from now?

    If a psycho decides to cap Biden as retribution, now, there’s plenty of time for dems to rally behind a new candidate. If this was a real attempt, and it was done in October, and resulted in a retribution killing then, dems would be scrambling to get their new candidate approved in each state (Ohio, for example, has an early deadline).

    If it was staged, more likely this was done to distract from something else.

      Not saying it is staged, but this is a gift for Trump. Now no one can attack Trump in speeches or ads for the next 3 months without looking like an arsehole.

      IF it was staged (and that’s a big fucking if, considering it would take either Trump having impeccable timing in reacting or relying on a shooter just BARELY missing him) it would be for the good press.
